I began watching Cardcaptor Sakura because of the strong m/m vibe between the two boys, Touya and Yukito, but it was Tomoyo's devotion to Sakura that really sucked me in. Tomoyo adores Sakura utterly, yet is willing to suppress her own desires to make her friend happy. Sakura is embarrassed by the attention and clueless about its significance.
It's a scenario rife with frustrated homoeroticism, a typical CLAMP trademark. Why must the boys have all the fun, hmm? And why did Cerberus get shunted aside in the Sakura chapter? Enquiring fans want to know.
